All proceeds are benefiting the clients of Cops Against Cancer. One thing we learned, when diagnosed a cancer family loses is hope. Your support will assist in restoring that hope back into their lives. Four years ago, my wife Shirley and I saw firsthand the struggles cancer patients endure and Cops Against Cancer, a 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization was founded in 2010. Our mission strives to assist cancer patients and their families with the overwhelming changes in their lives. Cancer families many times are on single incomes and the financial stresses associated with their recovery and treatment is not covered by insurances. Our organization is able to assist those families and hope is restored and stress relieved simply by providing assistance in the form of gas for their vehicle and lodging during their treatments or with a monthly utility or home expense.Just in year 2012, our organization has assisted nearly 225 families in 45 of Iowa?s 99 counties. But those needs grow each day as new families hear those frightening three words, ?we?ve found cancer.?
