EVENTS THAT ARE SOLD OUT
All events except the 10K are sold out. We may have one 1 Half Marathon slot that just came available from someone dropping out.
By registering you are signing up to support the mission of the national Tourette Syndrome Association. Members of TEAM TSA ask individuals or businesses to sponsor them in athletic events and those funds benefit TSA's research programs to search for a cure for TS as well as educational programs. This event is in Disneyland and is a two day event - Saturday Aug. 31, 2013 will be the 5K Family Fun Run/ Walk, the Dumbo 10K and Kids Races and Sunday Sept. 1, 2013 will be the Half Marathon.
Your registration fee goes to Disney, TSA does not benefit from that fee. We ask you to raise a minimum of $500 for the Dumbo Dare and Half Marathon and a minimum of $350 for the 10K and $200 for the 5K to support our mission to find a cure for TS. You need to be half way to your goal by June 15, 2013. We provide you with an online fundraising page to make it easier for you. Disneyland Park Passes/ Race Admission
All the races start and end outside the park. You will not need a park admission ticket to do any of the races. If you want to enjoy the park for the day afterwards you need a park pass. Please note some of the categories include a park pass and some do not. Disney creates the packages and we do not have the ability to make changes to them.
Each Person Must Register
Funds go to Disney for your registration so each person must register individually. Each participant receives a T-Shirt and medal from Disney. TEAM TSA also provides each person with a T-Shirt and medal.
How it works
Once you are registered a webpage will be created for you on our team site and you will receive a link to customize the page. Using our online system you will be able to do email blasts to direct people to visit your page and sponsor you by making a tax deductible donation. You will receive an email notifying you of the donation and they will also receive a thank you email in which they can use for tax purposes.
Registration fees do not benefit TSA. Funds go to Disney for your participation. Get started today by registering online. After registering you will receive a link by email to build your own webpage. If you have already registered for the event, but would still like to fundraise for TSA please contact the TSA by email at email@example.com.
Optional Travel Packages
There are travel packages available for those who agree to meet minimum fundraising guidelines. This is strictly a voluntary option. If you live locally or wish to secure your own travel arrangements these guidelines will NOT apply to you.
Optional Travel Fundraising Minimums
Travel dates are August 30 - Sept. 2, 2013.
Hotel Only: $2300 for 1 Room For 3 Nights.
Single: 1 Round Trip Airfare, 1 Room For 3 Nights: $2,700 minimum
Two Person Team: 2 Round Trip Airfares & 1 Room For 3 Nights: $4,700 minimum
Traveling with family and friends
All runners who select a travel package will have their own hotel room and can choose to have people stay with them. The packages we offer are standard. TSA regrets we are unable to provide packages to fit the needs every family.
