What's Included

***All campers are required to have a Minecraft™ account for this class. Purchase a standard account and desktop version of Minecraft™ ($26.95) at minecraft.net/store. Campers should bring their account login when they come to camp.*** Minecraft is a block-building sandbox game with no set rules, where you can build anything you can possibly imagine. Campers role play and pretend they are alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. They have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come. What do they do? What we teach might just save their life!

About This Organizer

Art a la Carte Kidz is a drawing based art-enrichment program designed to enhance drawing skills and build each child’s self confidence. Throughout the year, students learn thefundamentals of art through drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and mixed media, while using artist quality media. Projects never repeat – each session is new and different! We provide engaging curriculum that develops skills and techniques, stretches the imagination, and explores art history, as well as, the art work of our very own local artists! Each and every project is “kid-tested” to ensure that all projects are fun and successful! With Art a la Carte Kidz, students have a safe and secure environment where they can experiment, problem solve, build skills, and produce fantastic art creations.

Terrific Scientific is a hands-on, minds-on, challenging SCIENCE program for girls and boys that lays the foundation for innovative minds and problem solvers of the future through science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Throughout the year, students learn the fundamentals of inquiry-based learningBe curious, ask questions, think outside the box, explore possibilities, discover what you don’t know, experiment and try things out, and evaluate results.Through this approach, students carry out experiments, engage in team activities, and see how science works in the real world.  Our camps and classes appeal to children who have a genuine interest in how things work and what things are made of.
