PERFORMANCE DATE: SUNDAY, MARCH 12. This class is for those familiar with the essentials of improv (the "yes-and" principle, for example) who are ready to give it a go in front of an audience. Students will spend the first seven classes honing their scene-building skills, developing entertaining characters, and learning lots of improv games that strengthen listening, supporting, storytelling, and confidence. The final class will be a showcase for invited friends and family. INSTRUCTOR BIO: SARAH HOLT launched LTA's improv program back in 2001. She trained with The Groundlings in NYC and was an early cast member of Washington Improv Theater. She is a member of LTA's house improv troupe, The Retrocessionists, and regularly teaches improv workouts at The Actors' Center.
