Come bust a gut with us as we explore comedy. Students will learn about comedic timing, and the basics of making someone laugh. They will embody characters through movement and vocal characterization. This class is catered to actors new to the stage or veteran LTA actors who want to discover new skills to strengthen their acting ability. The students will challenge themselves through the use of ensemble and character analysis, and by taking acting risks on stage. Students will use these newly developed skills in a hilarious comedy for friends and family in a production on the LTA stage for the Spring Showcase! (Students must be available for early evening rehearsals and performances during the week of March 23 – 28.)
