(Due to the Columbus Day weekend, there will be no class on October 11.) Musical theatre performance is more than singing a song, it is acting through a song to tell a story. Students will explore how to interpret and connect to the lyrics to tell the story in the music. Development of characters is stressed as well as simple movement, choreography and stage presence. Two or three staged musical numbers will be choreographed for final performance.
