What's Included

Whether it is in theatre, film, or radio, there is a voiceover opportunity for you. Seven-time Emmy-winning and five-time Telly-Willing TV host and producer, Mike Baker, will teach you the latest techniques need to become a young voiceover professional. Over the course of one week, you will be provided commercial voiceover copy and taught the techniques of storytelling and delivery. You will also record at least two pieces of copy weekly for critiquing purposes. Further, as part of this one week intensive course you will record a professional voiceover reel at the studios of Voc-Cam Associates in Silver Spring, MD. Following your session, you will receive a master CD professionally recorded and missed, three copies, and a thumb drive containing your reel. Class size is limited, so register early. Mike will also provide you with a list of the commercial voiceover agents and casting directors in New York. The compilation of classes, record session, professionally mixed and labeled CD master, copies and thumb drive would cost a student over $1500 in New York. A one-day master class with a New York voiceover Casting Director is optional. This master class will cost $50 per student. The Vamoose Bus to and from New York will cost $60 per person. It is advised that at least one parent accompany his or her student to and from New York. INSTRUCTOR BIO: Mike Baker is a seven-time Emmy Award-winning TV host, reporter and producer. He hosted and produced a talk show on Bravo for six years. Mike is a local actor who has garnered multiple awards for his performances in musical and dramatic theatre. He has also performed in New York, at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, and The White House.
