What's Included

Whether it is in theatre, film, or radio there is a voiceover opportunity for you. Seven-time Emmy-winning and five-time Telly-winning TV host and producer, Mike Baker, will teach you the latest techniques needed to become a voiceover professional. Each week, you will be provided commercial voiceover copy and taught the techniques of storytelling and delivery. You will also record at last two pieces of copy weekly for critiquing purposes. As part of this class, you will also record a professional voiceover reel at the studios of Vox-Cam Associates in Silver Spring, MD. Following your session, you will receive a master CD professionally recorded and mixed, an additional copy, and a thumb drive containing your reel. Class size is limited, so register early. Mike will also provide you with a list of the commercial voiceover agents and casting directors in New York. The compilation of classes, record session, professionally mixed and labeled CD master, copy and thumb drive would cost a student over $ 2,500 in New York. Mike will also endeavor to set up an optional Animation Master Class in New York and will give the Casting Director a thumb drive containing all the student reels. INSTRUCTOR BIO: MICHAEL BAKER, JR. is a seven-time Emmy Award-winning TV host, reporter and producer. He hosted and produced a talk show on Bravo for six years. Mike is a local actor who has garnered multiple awards for his performances in musical comedy and dramatic theatre. He has also appeared in New York, at The Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, and The White House.
