Join Special Olympics Northern California for the coolest event of the year – the Bay Area 5K and Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. This timed run will take you on aloing the beautiful Alamedfa beache. Each participant will receive a finisher medal with first through third place awards presented to top finishers in each age category.
This event is part of the San Francisco 5K/10K & Polar Plunge event. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume!

9:15a.m. - 5K Opening Ceremony
9:30a.m. - 5K Run Begins
10:00a.m. - Plunge Registration Opens
10:30a.m. - Race Course Cleared
11:30a.m. - Plunge Opening Ceremony, Costume Judging and Awards
12 noon - PLUNGE
