What's Included

Learn the foundations of all woodworking, box making. Bachelor's chests, dressers, humidors, and kitchen cabinets. Boxes come in many different forms, but all share the same basic structure. Students will make two different boxes in this 6-week course; a small jewelry box in weeks 1 and 2, and a six board blanket chest in weeks 3-6. Students will walk away with the skills and confidence to build many different boxes. Students will learn to use a variety of hand planes, including a Jack plane, a rabbet plane, and a router plane, and will learn to use a chisel. Take your woodworking skills to the next level. Students will be provided with four (4) high quality hinges and two (2) locks and keys from Horton Brasses located in Cromwell, CT, USA. Instructor: Luke Barnett
