What's Included

Students will explore a variety of drawing techniques inspired by the artwork they see in the galleries. During this session of Drawing in the Galleries, students will spend time in the following exhibitions: Heroes Aren't Hard to Find: The Comic Collection of Shelton Drum, There/Here: Architectural Research Practices in Urban and Rural Virginia, From These Hills: Contemporary Art in the Southern Appalachian Highlands, and Brett Marcus Cook's exhibit in our Panoramic Gallery. The diverse work in the galleries during the month of February gives students a wonderful opportunity to see and explore many different drawing techniques and materials. Class fee includes all nececssary supplies and materials.
