Dips

Ever since I was young, I had to have something to dip my food in. Veggies, meats, chips—almost everything had to have a sauce or dip. As we all know, many dips and sauces contain extra fat, sugars and calories we don't need.

One healthy alternative is Greek yogurt. Try the non-fat plain yogurt, and add spices, honey, chopped onions or hot sauce (a low calorie one) to get a delicious low-fat dip. The yogurt absorbs the entire flavor and has the consistency of sour cream or mayo. This dip goes great with cut up veggies or pita chips.
