Description
This will be the Inaugural Race to be held annually on the last Saturday of December before Christmas. All proceeds go to the Winchester Youth Development Center and Shenandoah University Track and Field.
Chip timing will be utilized and the start/finish area will have a DJ and music.
There will be a post race party and award ceremony at Piccadilly's Public House included with your entry fee.
Packet pick-up will be at Runner's Retreat on the Downtown Mall from 5-7pm on Friday, December 21st and from 6-7:30am on Saturday, December 22nd. Your packet will include a technical race tee, bib number, timing chip, and discount coupons to downtown vendors.
COURSE:
5k Race starts and ends at the Civil War Courthouse on Loudon Street in Old Town Winchester. The course is flat and fast through Downtown Winchester. Course map available at http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=491847
