CALLING ALL HEROES!! The Troop 139 Heroes Challenge is a 5K Run around beautiful Woodley Park and Lake Balboa, honoring our everyday heroes, fire fighters, police, teachers, nurses and doctors, parents and all others who are every day heroes who dedicate their lives to making this city a safer, smarter and better place. There will be teams of 4-5 comprised of fire fighters, police, teachers, EMTs, entertainers, lawyers - whoever wants to form a team - all vying for bragging rights amongst who is our fastest hero! (Individuals can run too!) Run for the Eagle is a 5K Run on the same course exclusively for area Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Awards will be handed out for fastest teams. There will be music, Awards, Prizes, Food, Drink and lots of fun! Proceeds will go to both BSA Troop 139 Sherman Oaks, which is celebrating its 60th year, the Western Los Angeles BSA Council, and the Valley Food Bank
