As we've all heard by now the Mayan calendar ends on December 21st of this very year! We realize it's not possible for many around the country to join us at Hooters on Clearwater Beach, December 22, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. for a 5K run to celebrate the dawning of a new day! Because the event has sold out and become SO popular we are opening up a virtual 5K registration and want you in on the fun. Everyone who registers will be mailed a bib #, HOOTERS 5K finisher's medal and the AWERSOME KISS MAYAN ASS AT HOOTERS Sweatshirt all included in the registration fee. Youll wear these proud any day of the year but ever more so on 12/22/12! Lets make this the largest 5K IN THE WORLD!
Event schedule and times
Now it's up to you. We need each virtual runner to pick your favorite 5K route, track it for distance as accurately as possible, and record your time. Send it in to us to post on Facebook and by all means be SURE to go to your closest Hooters wearing your sweatshirt (and your medal if you're not too humble) to show the country how the new calendar begins with FITNESS, FUN AND CELEBRATE AT HOOTERS!
