Join us for the Third Annual Run for Chocolate 5K Run/Walk at the beautiful Sunriver Resort, Saturday, February 16th, 2013.
$25.00- Individual, received online by Thursday, February 14th by 5:00PM.
$35.00- At packet pick up on Friday, February 15th and Day of Race.
Race Entry Fee Includes: A special Chocolate aid station, commemorative finisher prize for each runnner/walker, chocolate treats and other favorite finisher food items at our post race celebration. Show your race bib for complimentary entry to the Sunriver Chocolate Showcase after the race starting at 11AM at the lodge.
Bib pick up/Day of Race Registration
New this year- Bib pick up and on-site registration starts on Friday, February 15th from 4:00-7:00PM, Saturday, February 16th from 8:45AM- 9:45AM, Main Lodge.
The scenic and flat 5K course will start in front of the Sunriver Main Lodge and then follows asphalt bike paths passing by the Great Hall, Sun River and Meadows Golf Course, returning to the finish line at the back of the lodge. The course is USATF Certified.
Chocolate Aid Station
One Chocolate aid station will be available on course with water and chocolate treats to give you that energy boost to the finish.
Timing will be chip timed. This is a USATF Certified 5K Course.
Be prepared for winter elements and dress accordingly. Yak traxs are recommended if snow or ice.
Commemorative 2013 Run for Chocolate technical short sleeve Tee-Shirts are available for $15.00. Sizes are only guaranteed if ordered by Sunday, February 3, 2013. Male and Female sizes available. We sold out last year so please order in advance.
Finisher Celebration and Awards Presentation
Join us post race for coffee, hot chocolate and other chocolate treats in the Lodge.
There will be prizes for overall Men, Women and Masters Men/Women. Ribbons for First, Second and Third place, male and female in each age division (5 year increments).
Run for Chocolate will benefit the LaPine High School Athletic Department.
Refunds and Transfers
Sorry no refunds, deferrals or transfers allowed as all net proceeds will go to our beneficiary, La Pine High School's Athletic Department.
