The Inaugural San Luis Obispo Marathon + Half is SOLD OUT. Registration for the 5K race is still available.
Brief Description
The Inaugural San Luis Obispo Marathon, and Half Marathon will take place on Earth Day, April 22, 2012. The course features rolling hills, vineyards, Morros and scenic vistas. The SLO Marathon & Half Marathon races will benefit Team In Training. The 5K race will take place on Saturday, April 21 and it benefits Special Olympics of San Luis Obispo County.
Parking
Marathon and Half Marathon athletes will be provided a free shuttle pass to the start line. Plan on a 40 to 60 minute bus ride from our parking locations. Please arrive to the shuttle bus area early. Please carpool. Athletes will be bused back to their designated parking lot.
Parking at the Finish Line at the Madonna Inn is restricted. There will be no athlete/spectator parking in the hotel lot unless you are a guest of the hotel. A limited number of spots will be reserved for athletes on-site. Lots and shuttles to the Madonna Inn will be posted shortly.
Packet Pick-up and Late Registration
Packet pick-up and Late Registration for the 5K race only will take place at The SLO Life Expo on the Madonna Inn property. There is no late registration for the marathon and half marathon. Online registration cut-off for all races is Sunday, April 15, 2012. Dates and times for packet pick-up and late registration at the SLO Life Expo are as follows:
Friday, April 20: Noon to 5 p.m., late registration for 5K only
Saturday, April 21: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, April 21: Late Registration and Packet Pick-up for 5K only, 6:30-8:30 a.m.
Additional Information
All three races will be chip timed. 5K athletes receive a short sleeved re-cycled Tech T-shirt. All Marathon and Half Marathon athletes receive a long-sleeve recycled Tech T-shirt and a recycled sweats bag. Marathon and Half Marathon finishers also receive a medal. All athletes receive a commemorative program and Virtual Goodie Bag.

SLO Life Expo Hours
The SLO Life Expo will feature the best of San Luis Obispo businesses and products, from locally produced foods and drinks, to outdoor lifestyle and "green" products. Live music will be performed on Saturday and Sunday by local favorites. Stay and enjoy your accomplishment with a glass of local wine or beer, as well as locally produced food.
Friday, April 20: Noon to 5 p.m.
Saturday, April 21: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, April 22: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
