Description
The Cougar Run Half Marathon is one of two new additions to the 2012 Dirt Devil Racing calendar! The exact trail location for this race is on the race website ... but it is within the San Diego county limits, in Escondido, and is sure to be enjoyed by all. Please don't wait to sign up, as this race will definitely sell out ... and the race shirt alone is worth the run!!
Finisher Medals to all who complete the Half distance in under 3 hours. 5K distance is merely a fun run, and no medals are awarded. Awesome technical Race Shirts to all paid participants in both the Half & 5k races. After-Party location and details on the race website.
No strollers, pets, or non-racers allowed on any part of the course. Bandits will be removed from the course and banned from all future events.
Note: There are no bib swaps or race day sign-ups allowed. Refunds until May 26th only. No exceptions after that date. Email your "Detailed Active Registration" (complete with payment info, your street address, etc) to Krista@SDRI.net
Event schedule and times
Event Check-in at 6:00 am and the Half will start at 7:00 am. 5K to start approximately 7:20 am. ALL RACERS MUST BE CHECKED IN BY 6:45am!!!
Please have your bib already pinned on THE FRONT OF YOUR SHIRT/SHORTS ONLY prior to check in. If your bib is not in place, you will be asked to go pin it on and get back in line. We want the race to start on time as much as you do. Please do your small part to help in that process!! It makes racing fun for all.
