The 3rd annual Stephen Strasburg 5K with Tony Gwynn benefiting Aztec baseball will bring together current and former MLB stars, alumni, and the San Diego community to walk/ run through the beautiful SDSU campus and help raise funds for the Aztec Baseball program.
Awards will be given to the top three men and women in each age division
Prices (Chip timing is included with all entries):
ADULT
- $40 - on 12/1/12 thru 1/3/13
MILITARY (Active Duty)
- $35 - on 12/1/12 thru 1/4/13
STUDENTS
CHILDREN (Ages 4 -12)
Each Paid Entry includes:
- Walk/run through the beautiful campus at SDSU
- Two tickets to a 2013 Aztecs Baseball game*
- Commemorative Stephen Strasburg 5K with Tony Gwynn t-shirt
- Free haircut voucher from SportClips*
- Free sandwich voucher from Capriotti's sandwich voucher*
- PLEASE NOTE - The hand-signed Stephen Strasburg and Tony Gwynn baseball cards have all been accounted for, but don't worry, you will still get the other great benefits including Stephen Strasburg 5K free t-shirt, SportClips haircut voucher, Capriottis sandwich voucher, complimentary food court and much more).
After the 5K we have lots of activities for all ages including:

- Autograph Booth - featuring current and former SDSU Baseball Team Members**
- Note: Qualifying participants will receive their Stephen Strasburg hand-signed autographed card and Tony Gwynn card as part of their registration packet (Stephen Strasburg and Tony Gwynn will not be signing at the event).
- Kids Fun Zone - featuring bounce houses from LB Jumpers Express, games and contests
- Complimentary food court - Restaurant sponsors will be providing an array of food samples for participants to enjoy
- Awards Ceremony - ceremony to present the top three overall finishers and the first place finishers in each age group category
- Auction/Raffle - a silent auction
BENEFICIARY: The SDSU Baseball program has a long tradition of excellence. Through the years, the Aztecs have produced numerous Major-League stars, led by Stephen Strasburg and Tony Gwynn. The Stephen Strasburg 5K with Tony Gwynn looks forward to creating an opportunity to give back to the San Diego community. Charitable contributions from the Stephen Strasburg 5K will benefit the SDSU Aztec Baseball program and help develop financial support for the Aztec Baseball program for many years to come.
