Inaugural GreenFest Earth Day 5K Run/Walk!
Come join your fellow Aztecs and the SDSU Community on Earth Day, Sunday April 22nd, for the inaugural GreenFest Earth Day 5K Run/Walk to help us kick-off GreenFest, San Diego State University's (SDSU) largest event!
Hosted by the GreenFest Executive Committee of Associated Students of SDSU, GreenFest is a week long event celebrating sustainability and Aztec pride! The purpose of GreenFest is to engage the campus community through social and interactive programs in an effort to educate the SDSU Community on the importance of living a sustainable lifestyle and to promote sustainable practices.
A percentage of each registration will be given to the SDSU Children's Center to help build and maintain their gardens as a food source for the center and educational and interactive activity for the children.
There will be Kid's Races after the 5k for ages 1-9, but kid's 7 and older may participate in the 5k run/walk!
This is a great family race and a meaningful way to celebrate and support sustainability and the SDSU Aztecs!
*REGISTER BY APRIL 16TH TO ENSURE YOU WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT WITH YOUR REGISTRATION! T-SHIRTS WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO REGISTER AFTER THIS DATE.
*There will be no refunds given for this event!
