Description
Routes of Hope is a 5K Run/1 Mile Walk being held at Pope John Paul High School (start time 9AM) in memory of our mom and Nana T, Tierra Dobry, and organized by the Foundation which has been established in her name- The Tierra L. Dobry Foundation. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and a dedicated dental hygienist.
The 5K course is cross country through gently rolling hills surrounding the school campus and the 1 mile walk will be on the brand new 8 lane track. T shirts will be provided for all pre-registrants, refreshments to all finishers, time clock finish and door prizes. There will be awards for the top 2 Male and Female 5K finishers plus two of each in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.
Proceeds from the race will fund a scholarship for a student in the Dental Hygiene School at Montgomery County Community College, Tierra's alma mater.
