Community Child Care Center's 5K Run for the Kids is a 5k Run/Walk and a FunRun at the Community Campus in Portsmouth, just off of West Road. Our 5K is part of the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce Community Road Race Series. Visit www.portsmouthchamber.org to learn how you can win a sporty series jacket! Our 5K is now the signature event of the 2012 Seacoast Wellness Fair, Your Journey to Healthy Living -with fun events for the entire family -underwritten by Portsmouth Regional Hospital and The Foundation for Seacoast Health!
The 5K route: A fast course for all runners! Walkers are welcome too (no dogs please). At 9AM we'll Follow Campus Drive to West Road (short end), right into Water Country Access Road, right onto Constitution Ave, right onto Banfield Road, Right onto Peverly Hill Road, up the hill and turn right onto West Road, right onto Campus Drive. ROUTE CERTIFICATION IN PROCESS!
PRIZES: Overall first place man/woman, first place man/woman in each age group, oldest participant, youngest participant, first place team, wheelchair winner.

After you cool down, come inside the campus and participate in the Seacoast Wellness Fair - Your Journey to Healthy Living! Free Activities include: First aid and CPR, Nutrition and Exercise demos, wallclimbing, free screenings, and children's story walk.
