Description
The 4th Annual Rabbit Race 5K and 1/2 Mile Bunny Hop will be held on Saturday, March 30th. We are keeping the tradition of hosting the race the Saturday before Easter. Registration will be from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. with the 5K starting at 9:00 a.m., Bunny Hop at 10:00 a.m. and awards at 11:00 a.m. The start and finish will be at the Bay County Courthouse.
The 5K race will be $20 until March 15th, after that the price will increase to $25. The Bunny Hop is $10 until March 15th and $15 after. We will have packet pick-up on Friday, March 29th at the Junior League Office from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. We will also offer late registration at that time and on race day. Chip timing will be provided by Runners Edge.
All children under 12 will receive a finisher's medal. Bunny Hop children will also get a special prize at the end of the race. T-shirts will be provided to the first 300 registrants. We will also have prizes for age groups and overall awards.
If you don't want to run or walk, we are also looking for volunteers. We need folks to help pack packets before the race, help with the packet pick-up and also on race day. In addition to our committee, we are looking for about 100 volunteers over the course of the 3 different days with more than half of those needed on race day following the guidelines from race director's guides the committee has reviewed.
