Registration and Starting Times
Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. The race officially begins at 7:30 a.m.
Course Information
15K Run - 7:30 Start
Composed of a flat, scenic country-road course with Coronado
Heights hill (1 mile running distance up a circular, rugged road) at the heart of the race, this is a demanding course; please train accordingly. Aid stations (water) and split times will be provided throughout the course. The starting line will be at the intersection of Main and Grant streets; the finish line will in close proximity to the starting line.
Please Note: there is a 2 hour time limit on the completion of this course.
*The course will be run backwards due to Svensk Hyllnighsfest and the Parade.
5K Run - 7:30 Start
The 5K Run is conducted on a flat blacktop course around town. Aid stations (water) and split times will be provided throughout the race. The Starting Line will be at the intersection of the Main and Grant streets. The Finish Line will be on Main Street.
*The course will be run backwards due to Svensk Hyllnighsfest and the Parade.
2 Mile Walk - 7:15 Start
The 2 Mile Walk is conducted on a flat blacktop course around town. Aid stations (water) and split times will be provided throughout the race. The Starting Line will be at the intersection of the Main and Grant streets. The Finish Line will be on Main Street.
1 Mile Youth Fun Run - 8:30 Start
The 1 mile Youth Fun Run (ages 5-14), will be run on a flat blacktop course around town. The Starting Line will be at the intersection of the Main and Grant streets. The Finish Line will be on Main Street. All runners will receive a medal for participating. We will not have age divisions.
Race Numbers- Race numbers may be picked up at Vision_Tek, (121 S. Main Street) prior to the race, starting at 6:30 am.
T-Shirts- All registered runners will be given a multi-colored T-Shirt to commemorate the race. Anyone registering after September 28, 2011 cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt in their size.
Awards- An award ceremony will take place at Vision_Tek following the completion of the races. A 1st place award will be given to the overall male and overall female winners in both the 5K and the 15K races only. Awards will be given in each age group, both male and female (see Age Divisions). Note: Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards.
*No awards given for 2-Mile Walk.
Parking-This year Lindsborg will host the biennial Svensk Hyllingsfest. Parking will not be available anywhere on Main Street due to the Hyllingsfest parade. Please park on the side streets. PLEASE do not move barricades in order to park!
Course Time Limit:As a courtesy to the community impacted by the races, the volunteers who serve and in consultation with our local police jurisdictions, we have established Course Time Limits of 2:00 hours for all of our courses.
