Description
This is the race "for the rest of us"! The more you weigh the better your chances of finishing first. The 5K will have "weight divisions" with the Clydesdales among us getting an early start and the "slim & trims" starting from scratch.
5K starts at Noon with 1M walk to follow after 5K start.
Fat Boy 5K t-shirts to first 400 entries. Custom Fat Boy 5K race bibs to all entrants.
Packet pick up and registration on Friday at Red Rock Running Co. from Noon to 6 p.m. or at race site from 10-11 a.m. Check web site (www.lvtc.org) for details. Online entries close 11:59 p.m., 2/17.
All finishers will receive sausages and a Michelob Ultra beer (or soda), and/or Icelandic Glacial water, Nesquick chocolate milk, Vitacoco (coconut water), donuts, and lots of other goodies.
Awards in nine age categories and two divisions (male and female) for 5K runners:
U-10, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
All day-of-race entries $45.
All net proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Nevada.
