Description
The Inaugural Strides for Pride 5K, in addition to a 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday April 21, 2012. Activities will start at 7:00 AM at Riverside Park in Historic Five Points. The course begins and ends in Riverside Park and loops through residential riverside.

Awards
Awards will be given out to the top two overall Male and Female finishers and first place Male/Female Masters. Awards will also be given to the top two finishers in each of the following male and female age groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, & 70 and over.
Course
The Start and Finish Line will be located at the intersection of College St. & Margaret St. in Riverside by Riverside Park. The course will run along the park, by the JASMYN House on Peninsular Place., around the other side of the Park, and down Myra to James street and back to the Park.

$20 will pay for a youth runner to participate in the race for no cost. JASMYN is a Youth Centric organization - keeping our youth at the center everything we do. By sponsoring a youth runner you are helping us provide them with the opportunity to participate in the Race!
