The seeded runner roped off area has 5,000 starting positions. Race numbers are assigned from 1 to 5,000 for these runners. The area is strictly reserved for the fastest qualifying runners. Once you have your qualifying time, go ahead and register and reserve your spot!
To qualify for one of these seeded numbers, you must meet the following requirements:
* Run a qualifying time listed on the qualifying table (http://www.gate-riverrun.com/qualifying.htm) in the last year (March 12, 2011 - March 10, 2012) :
* NOTE: The top 300 seeded numbers are for Elite athletes. For more information, email Doug at doug@1stplacesports.com
* Completely fill out the "Seeding Section" portion of the entry form. Once we have received your seeding information when you sign up, we will not accept any other qualifying time! You can only submit once!
* Qualifying must be done before you submit your entry.
Packet Pickup
There is only one way to get your race packet, t-shirt and ChampionChip: In Person at the Runner's Expo at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. If you live in the Jacksonville area (Duval, Clay, St. John's and Nassau counties) you must pick up your packet on Thursday or Friday, March 8th-9th at the expo located at: 510 Fairgrounds Place across Duval Street from Jax Municipal Stadium. Please park in the stadium parking lots across from the Fairgrounds.
Expo Hours
Thursday, March 8th: 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM
Friday, March 9th: 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM
Saturday. March 10th: 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM
Special Out-of -Town Runner Option
There will be a packet pickup at the expo for out-of-town runners only on race morning, March 10th from 7:00 AM until 8:00 AM. You can pay the $5 fee for day of race pick up. This option is available to out-of-town runners only! No Exceptions! Out-of-town runners are defined as runners from outside Duval, Clay, St. Johns and Nassau Counties.
