Description
The Stars and Stripes VeteRun 5k is a traditional 5K road race for all ages along with a boot camp style fun run for younger kids, held on Monday, November 12, 2012 @11:00am at Stewart Lodge, Mendon Ponds Park, Mendon NY.
Race Goals
• Honor our Veterans by Highlighting their Efforts and Supporting Honor Flight Rochester (Honorflightrochester.org)
• Facilitate a Fun Community Event for all Ages
• Promote Health and Fitness
Packet Pickup:
Packet Pickup will be available at the Fleet Feet Sports Brighton location (2210 Monroe Ave) on 11/10 (9 AM-5PM) and 11/11 (12 PM - 5 PM).
Awards:
The following will be awarded:
- Age group awards in the following age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- "Spirit Award" for Male and Female
