Pope John Paul II High School along with the House of Pius IX would like to invite you to the inaugural running of The Caldwell Classic 5k. All proceeds will benefit TJ Martell Foundation, who has provided more than $250 million for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. T J Martell Foundation was started in 1973 after the son of Tony Martell, a local music executive, was diagnosed with leukemia. Just a high school student at the time, TJ had a vision to raise $1 million for leukemia research.
The race will be on March 31st, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Jim Carell Athletic Complex. Runners (or walkers) who register before March 16th will receive a free t-shirt commemorating the event.
Come join us for a race around campus, great music and lots of fun!
