Description
Welcome to the Zombie Fest ZOMBIE RUN! This unique running event is coming to you from the DEAD! Register now for a race that will have you running for your lives! Runners will begin the race with 2 flags on a belt. Throughout the 3.2 mile course, you will encounter obstacles and ZOMBIES who will try to steal your lives (your flags). The top 3 finishers who finish "alive" (with one or more flags remaining) will be awarded special Zombie Run prizes.
This race is in conjunction with Grand Forks' Zombie Music Festival, a part of the North Valley Arts Council. The race proceeds will benefit the Empire Arts Center, a historic theater in Grand Forks, ND.
ZOMBIES: If you register as a Zombie, you get to be the one chasing runners and stealing lives (flags)! Put on your best Zombie makeup and acting skills for this very special duty. Zombies who collect the most flags will win special prizes. This is an important role and possibly more fun than running!

Registration and packet pick up will begin at 12:30pm.
Race start: 2pm Gun Start
Race Location: on the greenway trail to the North of Towne Square in Grand Forks, ND.
3pm: Race Awards, Battle of the Zombie Bands begins in Towne Square
