Description
Awareness of the disease and awareness of the simplicity of colon cancer screening is urgently needed in our own region. Toward that end, the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center is sponsoring the 2nd Annual "Strollin' for the Colon" 5K Run/Walk on April 20, 2013 in Geneseo, NY. Proceeds from this event will go towards the developement of cancer awareness programs through the University of Rochester's Division of
Gastroenterology & Hepatology, the Livingston County Department of Health Cancer Prevention program, and to support colon cancer research at the Wilmot Cancer Center.
T-Shirts to the first 200 registered walkers and runners.
