Description
The "Listen to Your Heart 5K Run/Walk" will be hosted by the Gainesville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Proceeds will support the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women program (http://www.goredforwomen.org), a
program designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health. The American Heart Association uses funds raised, to support awareness, research, education and community programs to benefit women. The race will begin at Northeast Park and will go through Gainesville's Historic Duckpond Neighborhood. Participants on every level are encouraged to participate.
The race will be professionally timed.
Event schedule and times
The race will begin at 8:00 AM. On-site registration begins at 7:00.
T-shirts are guaranteed to people who pre-register by January 13th.
