Valley View Golf Course in Fremont, Nebraska provides a festival-style atmosphere and gives participants a high-intensity course that is suitable for runners of all levels. From beginner mud runners and joggers to hardcore ninja warriors and marathon runners, our obstacle course will challenge each and every one of you. 5k-The Hard Way will test your strength, agility, balance, stamina and your mind.
The Course:
Welcome to the jungle, baby! Participants will wind through rugged forest country and a vineyard, cross daring suspension bridges and creeks, slip down a 100 foot water slide, sprint across balance beams looking down on actual beaver dams, scale climbing walls and navigate up and down steep, demanding bluffs. Blasting geysers of water will refresh and cool you along the way. If you start to fade you can grab a quick shot at the Monster Energy Bar right in the heart of the jungle.
Runners and spectators will be treated to a rocking after-party with a live DJ, tons of giveaways, delicious food and plenty of beer.
Every time a national race comes to the area they take thousands of dollars from the state. We are a local race. We are Nebraska's one and only, biggest-and-best mud run! We hire local staffers and re-invest in the community. Each and every Hard Way event will be bigger and better - year in and year out!
So Buy the Ticketand Take the Ride. Its only $40.00. And unlike other runs we won't charge you to park! There is also no cover charge for the after-party, and everyone is welcome to enjoy the music, food, drink, and festivities.

Date: July 21st, 2012
Start Times: 10:30AM; 11:00AM; 11:30AM; 12:00PM; 12:30PM
Day of Event: Participants can pick up t-shirts and sign waivers at the event, starting at 9:00AM.
DJ starts at 10:00AM. There is no cover charge for the party. Food, beer and soft drinks will be available for a fee. Anyone purchasing alcholic beverages must have ID.
