Description
Event: Running through the Palms 2013
Date: Sunday January 13, 2013
Time: 7:30am registration, 8:30 start time
Fee: $30 per runner (which includes a barge fee to walk on barge that transports runners to the island & a t-shirt) after Dec. 13th the fee increases to $45 (still includes barge fee to walk on, t-shirts will be offered until supplies last)
Location: Palm Island in Englewood, Fl (a barrier island only accessible by boat or barge)
Other Information: Barge trip is approximately 15 minutes. Cars are not encouraged to drive on barge as the fee to drive across is $55. Spectators will be allowed to walk across the barge for no charge from 7am to 9am. After the race there will be an awards ceremony with prizes.
