Description
Walkers, joggers, runners and sprinters, join us for the 4th annual Chloe Clark Explorers' Run 4 Fun on Saturday, April 28, 2012. There will be a 1/2 mile Fun Run for the young and young at heart and a flat and fast 5K for those willing to go the distance. Both races start and finish at Chloe Clark Elementary school in DuPont. Each registrant that signs up before April 26 will receive a reusable shopping bag stuffed with goodies, and awards will be given to the top finisher in each age division. There will be a limited number of goodie bags available for those that sign up on Race Day. Those extra goodie bags will go fast, so get your registration in early! In Person: Registrations will be accepted at Chloe Clark Elementary (in the office) through Friday, April 20th, and there will be Race Day Registration starting at 6:30 am Saturday, April 28th.

Timing
The 5K will be timed by a Seiko Chrononmix. Once you have crossed the finish line, continue through the chute and pull off the perforated portion of your bib. It will be collected by a trained volunteer.
Registration
Entry fee is nonrefundable.
Safety
For everyone's safety, baby joggers will be the only wheeled devices allowed on the race course. Dogs are not allowed to participate. All entrants must read and sign the disclaimer before entering.
Race Course
The 5K course will guide participants through Dupont's beautiful trails. The trails run through paved and dirt paths giving you a sense of why Dupont is such a great place to live. Please visit www.chloeclarkpta.com for course detatils.
Age divisions
Under 8; 8-12; 13-17; 18-24; 25-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+ and Team Divisions. Participations awards will be given to all kids 9 & under and top finishers in each age group, including teams
Team Challenge
The 5K Explorers' Team Challenge may consiste of no more than 10 participants per team. Awards will be given to the top team. Team times will be based on an averaged time of participants.
