Brief Description
Come join us for a 5K run for the new year. On Race Day, 7:00 to 7:45am will be late registration and packet pickup. The Race will begin promptly at 8:00am. We will then have awards after the race on the track.
The Course
This USATF certified 5K begins on the track at The Citadel, where participants will run a lap around campus, go through Summerall gate of The Citadel, run 1 lap around Hampton Park, come back through Summerall gate of The Citadel and then run another lap on campus, finishing on the track.
Parking
Parking will be available near the track on The Citadel's campus.
Day of Race Registration
Registration the day of the race will be available from 7:00-7:45am on the track at The Citadel. The fee will be $25.
Packet Pick-up
Race numbers and packets can be picked up from 7:00-7:45am on the day of the race on the track at The Citadel.
Water and Restrooms
Water stops will be available throughout the course and near the finish. Restrooms will be available near the track.
Results
Results will be posted on http://sites.google.com/site/breakawayracing/ as soon as computations are complete.
Additional Information
Entry fee with t-shirt will be $20 before Dec 26 and $25 between Dec 27 - Jan 2. Entry fee without t-shirt will be $15 before Dec 26 and $20 between Dec 27 - Jan 2.
