Description
The Central Point Run 4 Freedom is a 5k out and back run in the City of Central Point. The run is the beginning of a day of celebration which includes: a parade, park festival and finishes at the Jackson County Fairgrounds with a firework display.
The run benefits the Crater Foundation which helps provide scholarships to students at Crater High School.
Registration is $15 until June 15th and then registration is $20, registration include a tee-shirt. Race day registrations are taken, but we encourage you to pre-register to ensure proper size for the shirts.
The Central Point Kids Run 4 Freedom is divided by age: Kids 5-6 years old 2 blocks (approximately 1/8 mile), Kids 7-8 years 3 blocks (1/4 mile), Kids 9-10 years old 4 blocks (1/2mile) Kids 11-12 years old 5 blocks (1 mile).

Event schedule and times
The Adult Run 4 Freedom Event begins at 7:30 and should be completed by 8:45.
Kids Run 4 Freedom begins at 8:45
Parade begins at 9:00 with park festival at Pfaff Park beginning immediately after parade concludes.
Fireworks display begins at the Jackson County Fairgrounds at dusk. There will be pre-fireworks activities. For more information visit the Medford Chamber website or Central Point Parks and Recreation.
