These are Chrono Track Systems timed races on USATF Certified courses benefitting the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. All Sports Timing is conducting the race and race results will be available at www.allsportstiming.com or www.mychiptime.com.


The 10-Mile course is gently rolling, scenic, relatively flat, fast, and takes you through open country and past neighborhoods and parks. The 5K starts after the 10 Miler and follows the first 1.55 miles of the 10 Miler course. Both course are out and back and offer a safe route well marked by N-Line Traffic Management.


Join us for the Second Annual Buffalo Stampede in Aggieland! Beautiful course, a well organized safe run with water stops, great running DJ music provided by Stevo DJ, cool T-shirts for all, unique buffalo age-group awards, plus post-race fruit and support. You will have a chance to meet lengendary Randy Matson, a Brazos Valley Olympic Gold Medalist and the starter for the race. You might even spot our Bison mascot! Join us at the fascinating BV Museum of Natural History and AFTER the race, stay for an awards ceremony and Boonville Days, a living history fair displaying frontier skills, arts, and crafts. Fun for the entire family, festive Boonville Days activities will be inside and outside the Museum!


Registration & Packet Pick-Up - Runners' packets and late registration will be available on Thursday, September 30th, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, October 1st, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Museum. Packets may also be picked up on race day beginning at 6:00 am. Race Day registrations will be accepted from 6:00-7:00 am, but prior registration is STRONGLY encouraged. Computer shoe chips will be picked up on race day beginning at 6 am. Directions to the Museum are available at: www.brazosvalleymuseum.org. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable; NO exceptions.


Parking - The entrance to the Brazos Center from Briarcrest will be closed. You must enter the Museum's parking lot from the back of the Target shopping center. A map will be posted by Oct.1st on the Museum's website.


Awards - Special buffalo sculpture trophies will be given to overall male and female winners. First, second, and third place awards will be given in each 10-year age group. Age-group awards will be buffalo head trophies for first place and buffalo medallions for second and third places. Age-groups will be 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+.


T-Shirts - All participants will receive a T-shirt, however sizes and availability are GUARANTEED by race day only for registration made on or before Wednesday, September 29.


Weather - Event will be held RAIN or SHINE! If the event has to be cancelled due to dangerously inclement weather, entry fees will not be refunded.


Course Regulations - No strollers, skateboards, bicycles, devices with wheels, dogs or other animals will be allowed on the course with runners.
