NEW LOCATION! The 2013 Zippy 5K will take place in Brisbane, CA near Brisbane Community Park.
Registration price will increase to $35 on 4/2/2013 (remains $20 for 18 and under). Online Registration closes April 19th, at 11:59PM (update: Slightly extended to 5:00AM Saturday morning, April 20). T-shirts are only guaranteed to those who pre-register by 4/16/2013.
Race Day registration will take place at the Brisbane Basketball Courts located at the intersection of Park Lane and Park Place, Brisbane Californa 94005. The race day fee is $40 ($25 for age 18 and under).
Teams can setup tents in the grass area of Brisbane Community Park. Many of the local businesses near the start area are allowing race participants to use their parking lots.
The Zippy 5K is part of the Pacific Association-USA Track & Field (PAUSATF) Road Grand Prix. The race is open to runners and walkers of all abilities; however, PAUSATF membership is required to be eligible for prize money payouts.
RACE UPDATE: We received word that both Zippy and the Nesquik bunny (aka Quiky) will be racing. It's on! Zippy vs. Quiky at Zippy's own race. Battle of the toons with fast sounding names! If you see them along the course, cheer them on!
Will Zippy beat Quiky? Let us know your prediction for this unstaged race by entering your raffle tag into either the "Yes" box or "No" box. Raffle prizes winners will be selected from the box with the correct prediction.

Post-race festivities will take place at Brisbane Community Park.
This year, proceeds from the Zippy 5K will benefit Mothers of Brisbane (MOB) and Brisbane Skate Park. For more information on the MOB please visit: https://sites.google.com/site/mothersofbrisbane/
Both the MOB and Lion's club will be putting on fundraisers after the race. The fundraisers include a BBQ and refreshment station, aka Zippy's Tavern*.
