Description
The Spark your Heart is a family oriented 5K Run/Walk which starts and finishes at Riverbend Park in Bend, OR at 8:00AM on Thursday, July 4th and benefits Adult and Childrens Heart Services in Central Oregon. The course winds along the Deschutes River mostly on asphalt foot paths with some gravel trails.
Register online from February 18th to July 2nd, at 7:00 PM. Late registration will also be available during packet pickup at the Footzone (845 Northwest Wall Street, Bend, OR) on Wednesday, July 3rd from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Day of race registration and packet pick up will start at 7:00AM.
Early Registration for Spark your Heart is $20.00 to celebrate Heart Month in February. Registration for Spark Your Heart starting in March is $25.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the Childrens Heart Fund Dash. The Spark Your Heart 5K technical t-shirts are $15.00. (Gender specifics sizing)
Children's Heart Fund Dash
The Childrens Heart Fund Dash (8 years and under) registration will include a cotton t-shirt, medal and snacks at the finish. There will be two courses for the kids based on age group. Note: this year the Childrens race will start first, the 5K will commence following the kids race.
Awards and Prizes
The top overall Male and Female and overall Male and Female Masters Runners (40+) will recieve special awards. Ribbons will be awarded three deep in each age group in ten year increments (11 and under, 12-14, 15-19. 20-29...70-79)
