It's your choice: Whether you enjoy biking, running, or walking, join us for the 8th Annual Chase the Balloons Cycling and Walk/Run Benefit, brought to you by New Mexico Sports & Wellness and co-sponsored by KNKT 107.1 FM on Saturday, October 1. You'll experience the International Balloon Fiesta in a whole new way and support Static Radio 88.3 FM, Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, and Albuquerque Rescue Mission!
Cyclists: Get your legs moving with the Metric Century (65.5 miles), pedal forward on the 25-mile ride, or take part in the Family Ride. Whichever you choose, we'll spin off at 7 am from Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE.
Runners and Walkers: Take off on the 5K course at 7:30 am starting from Hoffmantown Church, located at Harper and Ventura.
Pre-register for Chase the Balloons for just $25 or $15 for youth age 12-17; children 11 and under are free. Cost includes a t-shirt and your participation in one of the events: cycle, run, or walk. (Helmets are required for cyclists to participate.) NOTE: The cost for participation in the Family Ride is $25 per family.
