Description
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield, along with volunteers from the organizers of the Oleksak Lumber Spring Half Marathon, host the "Gordy's First Race", a 5K & 10K race on New Years Day each year, in memory of long time runner and Boys & Girls Club supporter Gordon Bates.
5K Entry Fee: $20 until 11/30/2012 - $25 after 12/1/2012
10K Entry Fee: $25 until 11/30/2012 - $30 after 12/1/2012

5K COURSE: A 3.1 mile course for Adults and Children to run or walk.

FACILITIES: Showers and Restrooms available at the Boys & Girls Club. Plenty of free Parking. Amelia Park Ice Arena and In-Line Rink adjacent to Club.
DINNER: Post-race pizza and refreshments FREE to all participants at the Boys & Girls Club. A
