Description
The Riverside 5000 is a 5km road race run on Riverside Dr between Casino Drive and 96th St. The Open course is a 2 loop course starting and finishing at 96th & Riverside and the Elite course is 3 loops with the same start and finish area. The Fun Run is an out and back course that runs mostly on the Jenks Pedestrian Bridge.
Event schedule and times
7:30AM - Elite 5km - This race has substantial prize $ and is for men who can run under 17:00 and women under 20:00 for 5km with WMA adjusted times for masters runners.
8:00AM - Open 5km - This race is for runners and walkers of all abilities. It has awards for the top 3 runners in standard USATF age groups as well as top 3 in each clydesdale, filly, and walker category.
8:45AM - 1 Mile Fun Run - This is a 1 mile race designed for kids. There are no awards in this race.
