Description
With 10K racers beginning at 10:00 AM and 5K participants starting just after, the trail race begins and ends in the Trapp Family Lodge Meadow. The races wind through 800 vertical feet of idyllic forest, bubbling streams, and wild flowers following a dirt road briefly before merging with double track cross country trails. The trails are not accessible to the general public so this is a special opportunity to run in a unique and beautiful location.

This is the final race in the Stowe 2011 Trail Race Series. Award presentations will follow the race, with plenty of free refreshments, a race number raffle, and prizes to the top 3 female and male runners in open and masters categories for both the Trapp Cabin 10K and 5K. Free parking. Restrooms in the Nordic Center open to race participants. Bib pickup begins at 8:30 am.
Stowe Adaptive Sports and Lamoille County 4-H have partnered to help make sports and recreation available to everyone. Proceeds from the race will benefit both organizations and help them fulfill their missions.
