Description
The 6th annual Waldo McBurney Race will be June 8th, 2013 at the Quinter City Park. We are excited to continue this popular race and will continue in the second year of a 10k distance. All proceeds of the race will go to the Castle Rock Wellness Center.
This race attracts both elite level runners as well as many families. Both runners and walkers are welcome.
Awards will be given to overall and age division winners for both races. All finishers age 12 and under will receive a medal. Male and Female overall 5k and 10k winners will receive $100 cash.
The course goes through the town of Quinter and has good fan support. Come join us for a fun filled morning!
Event schedule and times
Packet pick up may be done the night before at the city park from 6:30 to 8:00 pm or the morning of the race starting at 6 am and finishing at 7:30.
The 10k will start at 8:00 a.m.
The 5k will start at 8:00 a.m.
The 1 mile will start at 9:30 a.m.
The 200 meter Children's Race will start at 10:00 a.m.
The Kid's Marathon Mile will be concurrent with all races.
Overall and Age Division Awards will follow the races.
