Nature lovers, tree huggers, outdoor enthusiasts Arbor Day Run, runners and walkers will enjoy this scenic run through Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve. Join the Plano Parks Foundation in the 4th Annual Arbor Day Run 5k/10k and Hike.
The Plano Parks Foundation supports the parks in Plano and this annual event raises money for the improvement projects throughout city parks.
This event is THE GREENEST race in North Texas and a celebration of trees, healthy living, the outdoors and living life in a eco-friendly environment.
No race packets and no race t-shirt (but you can purchase one!)
Thats right! We do support our sponsors and will have sponsor offers and coupons available but we encourage the low usage of paper products, plastic bags and ask that you visit our sponsors online.
Many of you have run in races over the years and accumulate shirts that you never wear or you end up donating. So we replaced this benefit by providing you with alternative green/eco friendly incentive for registering!
If you would like a shirt you do have the option to purchase one!

10:00 AM: Welcome & 5K/10K Awards
Awards
1st overall male, female, masters male and masters female will receive awards. The top three male and female finishers in thefollowing age groups win awards: 14 and under 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, and 75+.
