The 10th anual Friendship Run promises to be a lot of fun for the whole family! We have added a friendly 10K route to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Join us for a 5K run/walk, or a 10K run along the beatutiful paved trail starting and finishing at McLane Elementary. Each entry recieves a chance to win a multitude of great door prizes (Last year's prizes included running shoes, automotive detailing, massages, yoga classes, garden supplies and more!
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Awards will also be awarded three deep in five-year age groups for both males and females.
The Tot Trot is free for kids ages 2-8! All kids participating will win an award! All proceeds from this event are used directly to improve the quality of, and access to, Pre-K education by way of our amazing scholarship program and periodic site improvements.
We have also joined forces with a local running club, Guerilla Running. They are providing training groups for those who want a little guided preparation to get them ready for the race. This is a great opportunity to get running if you haven't ever run a 5K (or if it's been a really long time) or to hone those skills and work toward faster times or moving up to the 10K distance.
