Description: Scenic courses through a pastoral setting with water views. Shirts have a Lopez Island scene. Enjoy the parade and other 4th of July activities in the village following the awards.
Course: All three courses are electronically timed, start and end in Lopez Village, are mildly challenging and have a long, gradual downhill finish. The 10K course is point to point; the 5K and 1 mile courses are out and back.
Awards: Unique Lopez awards are given to the first overall male and female finisher in the 10K, 5K and 1 mile events. Awards are also given to the first three male and female finishers in each age division in each of the events.
Registration: Register on line early to insure a T-shirt and low bib number.
Late Registration: July 2nd, Monday; and July 3rd, Tuesday; Noon to 4 p.m. at the Lopez Village Market.
Really Late Registration: July 4th, Wednesday; 7 am to 8:00 am at Islanders Bank.
Schedule: 8:30 am Runs and Walk start; 10:15 am awards presented at Islanders Bank Start/Finish area.
Divisions: 12 and under (5K and 1 mile events only); 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, 80 to 89; 90 and older participants receive an award and a free haircut from the Lopez Barber in the Ville.
Entry Fee: Adults $25 (includes T-shirt); 12 and under $20 (includes T-shirt)
Adults $15 (without T- shirt); 12 and under $10 (without T-shirt)
Race Day Registration: Add $5.00 (applies to all events)
