Description
Lace up your running shoes and join us for the 36th annual Lincolnwood Turkey Trot! This CARA certified 5K and 10K race takes you through scenic Lincolnwood featuring a flat, fast course perfect for novice as well as experienced runners. A 5K Fitness Walk and 2012 Drumstick Dash (for children 10 years of age and younger) rounds out this historic running event.
Enjoy fabulous raffles and the rock 'n roll sounds of the "Wind Gypsies" during the post-race party. All pre-registered participants will receive a long sleeve technical running shirt. Please note: all adult shirts are mens sizes; ladies you may want to size down.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation scholarship program and the Niles Township Food Pantry. Everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item.
