Ahh, Valentines Day . . . Either you love it, or you hate it.
Whatever your feelings are towards Valentines Day you wont want to miss the 2nd Annual North Shore Cupid's Love Dash 10k /5k! A Valentines-themed race full of sweets on the course and Hot Chocolate at the Finish Line!
Run as an individual, or a team! Runners can select their status whether it be Cupids Sweet Heart (in a relationship), Cupids Singleton (single, but looking and running with a friend), or Cupid's Lone Solo (definitely Single, running solo). Register before Jan. 15th and receive a quarter zipped performance pull over!
Race Starts Downtown Highland Park, Candy Aid Stations, Hot Chocolate and Cookies and Cupid's Costume Contest!
Here are the scoring rules for Team Registration:
In the spirit of the holiday, registrants will select one of three categories:
Cupids Sweet Hearts (registrant is in a relationship)
Cupids Singletons (registrant is single, but has a family or friend to run with them)
Cupids Lone Solo (registrant is running single (by themselves) and Loves being single it))
Individuals not stating their status will be assigned to the Cupids Solo.
TEAM COMPETITION
Form a two person team (sorry, you can only be on one team!) Must register together as 1 Team and create a Name.
Cupids Sweet Hearts Category
Form a team with your honey! Both participants must be pre-registered as in a relationship. Awards are given to the top three teams (female/male, male/male, and female/female) based on cumulative net time.
Cupids Singletons Category
Singletons looking for love? Grab your wing wo(man) and form a two-(wo)men team with your pal, family member, or other singleton. Awards are given to the top three teams (female/male, male/male, and female/female) based on cumulative net time.. Hope you meet that special someone at the Finish Line!
Cupid's Solo Category
Snub your nose at the Valentines Holiday, but still like to run and wear red? Then, join us for a fun filled run. Maybe you might be someone at the Finish Line. Awards are given to the top three.
